Mama Scrap’s Healing Work

Welcome to Mama Scrap’s—the healing division of Rebellyen LLC. To pay homage to the women of her lineage, Ree Belle named her healing work after her great great grandmother. It was created for the freedom fighter, the healer, the artist, the womxn, the queer, the oppressed and marginalized to find freedom and liberation through engaging in healing and wellness. From retreats to rituals, meditation spaces to sustainability practices, we seek to provide a liberating and inclusive healing space for those in our midst who seek to be whole and live well! 

While offering our healing services virtually, including birthing support through our doula work that you can learn more about below, we are also in the process of running a capital campaign to begin building our wellness village in Hillsboro, Mississippi. The 6.5 acres of forested land was purchased by Mama Scrap in 1919, and 100 years later, her great great great granddaughters became the stewarts of it. Soon, Mama Scrap’s land will house a small scale self-sufficient, sustainable village offering holistic retreat experiences by utilizing our permaculture farm and eco-friendly housing. MSDS is a division of Rebellyen offering pregnancy, birth, and postpartum doula support. We seek to reclaim ancestral practices, intervene on systemic harm, and support the healing and wellbeing of oppressed families.

Join us in returning to our family land as we begin the steps of creating a retreat and refuge for black and indigenous folx, people of color, queer folx, and others who are oppressed and seeking healing liberation!
